Craftsman is a Coimbatore-based, vertically integrated precision-engineering group (casting, machining, die-casting) with three reported segments. FY26 consolidated revenue 8,069.27 cr: Aluminium Products 4,788.8 cr (59%; Craftsman standalone, DR Axion PV castings/alloy wheels, Sunbeam 2W die-casting), Powertrain 2,178.9 cr (27%; machined CV/tractor/off-highway engine and transmission parts, Fronberg Germany, the new large stationary-engine line for data-centre gensets) and Industrial & Engineering 1,101.6 cr (14%; storage and material handling 61-65% of it, sub-assemblies). It sells to OEMs on cost-plus contracts with metal pass-through on a lag; it controls capacity, process and customer approvals, not end-demand or the aluminium price. Sunbeam (acquired 9 Oct 2024 for 376 cr) inflates FY25-FY26 growth; the June 2026 QIP (2,000 cr at 8,700) funds the build and de-leveraging.
